The purpose of the AS 44 series if for steam sterilization of surgical instructions, operation linen, dressing fabrics, rubber materials, metal and plastic dishes, glass, infusion fluids, microbiological cultures and nutrients. The sterilizers are utilized in several medical places, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, and many more. The sterilizers can accommodate 100 and 150 liters. The series is rectangular and has a sterilizing area that is horizontal. It can be either single-ended (A and WA models) or double-ended (PA and WPA models) kinds. There are 7 sterilization programs that enable temperature changes and time-lapse of opening, drying and cooling steps and two service applications (Bowie-Dick and air-tightness test. There is an optional user-friendly prgrom that allows whatever configuration for each individual phase can be achieved with the microprocessor control The control panel has a keypad, LED indications, and a four-line LCD screen that shows directions during the set-up process and operation.
