An exclusive element for single screw compression is embedded at the center of the device. It has a single rotor which has a pair of 11 tooth gate rotors meshing with 6 flutes. This has been proved in umpteen installations. The two areas of compression are above and beneath the main rotor. This consequently results in a significant reduction of bearing loads and a balance of compression loads. Lifetime operating costs are decreased and the compression element life is expanded by means of the low bearing loads. Cooling, sealing and lubrication are facilitated by the compression having water infused into it. The low temperature at which the compressor works is attributed to the advanced cooling capability of the water. This low temperature accounts for higher levels of efficiency, coupled with a lower consumption of power. Filtering the infused water inside the compressor is carried out by a membrane cartridge which undergoes a reverse osmosis. As a consequence, the water always has its maximum purity level intact.
