We have developed our surgical light EMALED 300 for minor surgery and examination rooms. We achieve great flexibility for the user through possibility of installing the lights at the wall or up to the ceiling. With 28 LEDs, the lighting power up to 65.000 lx (EMALED 300 wall) and the working field of 150 mm this light provides a shadow-free illumination of the surgical area. The illumination control as well as the off/on switch is situated direct at the light head. The good color rendering index of 92 and the near sunlight spectrum of 4.200 K in connection with the cool light without infrared and ultraviolet rays makes it possible to have a contrasty and detailed view of the wound. There are some important features that guarantee a safe and easy use of this examination light: The lighting heads are easy to move, simply to attach and can be moved unhindered around the horizontal axes. The low energy consumption of the lights as well as the long life span of the LEDs (at least 40.000 h) ensures low operating costs.
