The LED light source FibroLED 1000 provides for almost all light-based applications an energy-saving and cost-reducing alternative to conventional halogen or xenon cold light sources. In a direct comparison LED light sources transduce a far greater proportion of energy into visible light. Due to lower thermal loads LED light sources stand for a significantly longer service life of up to 20,000 operating hours. By using a PowerLED as a light source a constant color temperature of 6000-6500 ° K is applied. The LED color temperature is physically classified as 'light of daylight quality' since in this range of Kelvin temperature a very high degree of color fidelity is assured.
