The new TWISTERTM fiber was made to provide reliability and outstanding ablation rates. Since it has the capacity to operate in contact mode, fiber degradation and poor performance will no longer be an issue. Its bend design is new and patented, providing you with a direct tangible feedback of the spot you would like to vaporize. The TWISTERTM when combined with the Laser Series achieves excellent ablation rates of 2-3 grams. It also decreases the time spent on procedures to 50% or more when compared to present side fibers. There are clinical tests that have shown that TWISTERTM can treat a 40 to 50 gram prostate in less than 15 minutes. It does its job while maintaining the Ceralas® Laser System's hemostasis attributes.
