The Platinum SV Series of Ultra Low freezers (-40 C) are low-noise, temperature stable, microprocessor controlled units having many useful and desirable features. One of the primary features is the Bioguard Access Control system through which access to the freezer interiors is gained only through the use of RFID user cards. When a door was opened, by whom and for how long is recorded. Temperature history is also provided by the freezer's temperature chart recorder. Other features include audio and visual alarms, high and low temperature alarms and door-open and power failure alarms. A remote alarm system is also provided. The freezer's back-up battery system provides emergency power for up to 48 hours. Optional features include ports for extra probes, a CO2 and LN2 backup system, a cryolog software system if more than one freezer is installed and extra RS 232 and RS 485 communications ports.
