The UTX Swing FS is the only orthosis which enables a natural walk to its users by locking the knee joint during standing position and stance phase of walking. During the beginning of the swing phase the knee joint is unlocked and is automatically locked again during the full extension of the knees. The sytem unlocks when the the ankle reaches the correct dorsal flexion combining the knee extension. The device offers non-weight bearing caliper. The 900 grams low weight device enables easy comfortable wearing for body weight up to 100 kg (14 stone). The device is easily unlockable which helps in sitting down.
