Fitted with strong stainless steel wires combined with a treated polymide sheath surface, these BARD® PLATINUM CLASS™ baskets can be had in both helical and flatwire configurations and deliver class leading dilation force for capturing a stone in the ureter. The thick and strong stainless wires improve performance thanks to its tactile feel and the round wire makes it possible to turn the baskets to 360 degrees in the ureter. The results in less trauma when capturing the stone and smaller fragments can be captured with the helical design as it provides rotational movement in the capture process. These basket wires are also capable of attracting the stones attached to he walls of the ureter.
