The Taurus ambulance can be either a Citroen Relay or a Peugeot Boxer panel van. It has a high roof and extra long wheelbase (L4H3). The ambulance has internal dimensions of 2,785 x 1,600 x 1,885 (l x w x h). The external layout of the ambulance has stripes at the upper section dark facing outside on the sliding door and double shadowlite glass. There is one offside cassette type window next to the stretcher and one near side top sliding window behind the sliding door, which comes complete with a mesh guard. The rear window can be fitted with a white infill. Yellow grab handles are fitted on both sides of the rear doors and these doors can be fastened in an open position with two locating bars at the bottom of each door which operate on a twin, fixed pivot system.
