The Pulsar® valve is a monopressure valve which uses a silicone elastomer membrane, calibrated to low, medium or high pressure, protected by a polypropylene guard. The Pulsar® valve is available in two sizes: 12 mm for pediatric use or 16 mm for adult use, and in 3 pressure ranges: low, medium and high. With no metallic component, the Pulsar® valve does not cause any artifact during medical imaging.
