The KM03 is a composite mattress that features side containment panels. This mattress contains a wave-patterned viscoelastic foam measuring 6 cm in thickness and 50 kg./m3 in density. An open-cell polyurethane foam measuring 35 Kg/m3 in density and 8 cm in thickness, comprises a structure with glue free side containment panels that is designed to bear loads. These three panels are easily adapted to standard bed tilt systems. There are no CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) in the polyurethanes that are used. The viscoelastic foam is specially treated to prevent the formation of dust, mite colonies, bacteria, mold,odours and microbes.
