The Sonicaid D920 and D930 are hand held audio dopplers. These audio only dopplers incorporate high sensitivity transducers. The easy to use devices can enable a clinician to easily detect the fetal heart using the high sensitivity ultrasound. The D920, suitable for utilization in a water birthing environment, is a 2MHz waterproof transducer. The D930, also suitable for use in a water birthing environment, is a 3MHz waterproof transducer. In order to minimize the risk of infection, the transducers are easy to clean and feature a belt clip and optional neck-cord for ease of handling. The dopplers also have an indicator warning of low battery life.
