Introducing FetaLink, a fetal and maternal monitoring system that allows data flow from medical devices in order to mediates the clinician’s display needs in critical and outpatient environments. It helps in documentation and provides a graphic image of the heart rates of the fetus and contraction information. It also displays and stores annotations and wave forms, inputs that are displayed on a monitor for clinicians to view across the heath care facilities. The data received by fetal monitoring that is incorporated in to the EMR helps the clinicians to keep a record of heath care provided with the FetaLink. In instances where the mother is not available in the maternity unit, the clinician can store or view fetal tracings and help in supporting different fetal monitor manufacturers across health care facilities in order to monitor patients in different patient care settings. The feta Link enhances work flow efficiency and also acts as a navigation tool for the clinician to monitor development.
