Variable Range Coils (VFC) come in four sizes compared to the standard set of eighteen sizes. Complex loops and waves comprise this modern coil design. With a diameter design that changes for improved coil distribution, one coil can fill a large array of traditional diameters. This leads to excellent clinical performance and better packing density.
