DESCRIPTION: Thanks to a prestigious collaboration between Medilink and CEA-LETI, an international imagery laboratory, the Osteocore 3 introduces a technological revolution with the Digital Flash Beam® which is the new "cutting egde" and is replacing traditional fan beam technology. It provides an unequalled quickness of the examination, an optimization of the radiation dose, an excellent precision as well as a radiology-type quality of image. TECHNOLOGY: the Digital Flash Beam® consists of a 2 dimension flash exposure. This flash eliminates the scanning process that other technologies, like the Pencil Beam or Fan Beam, are based on. With a resolution of 254 or 127 µm, a velocity of the examination 40 times superior to traditional bone densitometry technologies thanks to the flat panel detector. An exceptional image: a radiological type image facilitates the identification of bone outlines and gives access to morphometric information.
