Leader in the field of the Corneal transplant, Moria proposes henceforth a single-use corneal punch for DSAEK surgeries (Descemet's Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty) and Penetrating keratoplasties. This corneal vacuum punch is made up two parts : a cutting block base and a trephine blade housing. Two concentric circles precisely center the preloaded blade over the cornea to provide accurate, straight-walled cuts. The cutting block base has 20 vacuum holes which allow a good distribution over the cornea. They also avoid distortion of delicate corneal tissue and prevent shifting during trephination. Four cardinal holes simplify the centering of the graft. The lateral window on top of the trephine blade housing allows to grasp and turn gently the sclera, with a tooth forceps, in order to detach the donor corneal button from the remaining sclera.
