The iconic construction commemorates its rebirth. Sóley, the state of the art folding chair was designed in the year 1982 by Icelandic designer Valdimar Harðarson. 30 years ago from today, this daring and bold design had acquired quite an impact, which is evident from the Roscoe Award and two Good Design Awards achieved by Sóley in the US and Japan respectively by gaining the title Furniture of 1984, along with design award of the Design-Center Stuttgart.
