The DATRON D5 dental milling and grinding machine requires very little space to operate. It can be controlled using an Apple iPad and features a 5-axis rotary swivel for simultaneous machining. There is a 13-fold tool changing unit that has tool-break and tool-length sensors and the spindle and drives have a cooling system. 8-blank automation is integrated, and the machine contains a chip case and adapter for the vacuum system. For glass ceramics, there is a wet-grinding option, and the machine also has a minimum-quantity cooling lubrication system.
