Base of the skull, ventricles of the brain, right internal capsule, left nucleus lentiformis, corpus striatum, 2 insula, 2 brain stems, corpus callosum, frontal lobe, cerebellum, occipital and temporal lobes having a limbic system and 2 cerebral hemispheres are the 15 segments into which the system divides itself.
