The instrument is fully automatic when blood pressure is taken at the upper arm. It can detect unusual pulse variations and has a large display showing 3 values. Furthermore, the instrument was awarded by the German Hypertension Society with a quality seal in 2005. It comes with a standard cuff for 22 to 32 cm arm circumference. Batteries as well as a record card for measurements are included in the package. A battery charger and an extra large cuff (32 to 48 cm arm circumference) are available as extras.
