The novacare® APM junior is an alternating pressure system developed especially for children. It can be used for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers up to stage IV (according to EPUAP). The system is in conformity with the standard children bed size of 140 cm x 70 cm. The mattress is equipped with eighteen 13 cm high cells arranged sideways. The smaller body height made it necessary to develop very slim cells. All materials used meet the high quality standards of the high-end system range. Alternation takes place every 10 minutes, static mode can be selected to simplify daily care and for the positioning of sensitive (pain) patients.
