Cost Effective Machine Upgrading The OES Anaesthesia Machine Flowmeter Banks have been designed to be suitable for upgrading both old machines and for a new build. All flowmeters are supplied fully calibrated and testing requiring only mounting and connecting to the gas supply. The flowmeters are available with 2, 3, and 4 gases and come with a mechanical anti hypoxic device as standard. A low oxygen pressure audible alarm with integrated reservoir and a nitrous oxide cut off can also be fitted. The flowtubes are mounted close the the tube window giving a greater view angle. The unique design of the blow needles provide long life with a minimum bobbin bounce. The outlet from the flowmeter can be connected directly to a vaporizer backbar and common gas outlet or to an end block for ease of piping. Alternatively a cagemount taper can be attached to provide vaporizer connection.
