This stretcher uses damper support to adjust the backrest and height. Single piece, plastic side rails are included as is an IV rod. Using a special device these rails can be hidden under the stretcher, if required. A hydraulic pump assists in trendelenburg functions and height adjustments. The pedals on the device can also be useful in positioning this stretcher. At the base are five castors measuring around 200 mm in diameter. These castors have three different positions to which they can be adjusted using pedals. Castors can be utilized in either swivel, direction lock or total lock positions. To provide movement in narrow and less than ideal spaces, this device features a fifth castor rather than the usual four.
