Carendo is a multi purpose hygiene chair built for solving the showering problem of residents under long term care. The traditional method of giving bath to patients creates a lot of problem such as strain on the carer. It has a innovative ergonomic design which makes it versatile and helps in performing a lot of function like pedicure, toileting, undressing dressing ,hair washing and changing of incontinence pads. Another unique function of Carendo is existence of Care Raiser for raising the lower body part of the residents or patients for completing hygienic process of very sensitive areas. All the function like raising , lowering and reclining and Care Raise is controlled by battery controlled handset used by the carer. For resident support and security high backrest and sturdy armrest is provided with the chair. The body part of the residents can be easily accessed by the care taker and at the same time giving comfort to the resident and patients.
