INTERGARD Heparin UltraThin is made of unique polyester and considered a drug and device combination that serves as an alternative during peripheral bypass procedures in case a saphenous vein cannot be accessed. The INTERGARD Heparin has heparin that is biologically active on the graft's fabric. A random clinical trial showed better patency rate and a lower amputation rate compared to PTFE. INTERGARD Heparin Ultra Thin is among the thinnest peripheral grafts available. It is a vascular graft made to improve the results of procedures that involve peripheral bypass. Its wall is only 0.35 mm thick, which makes it a good alternative during peripheral vascular bypass procedures. The matrix created from knitted unique polyester makes it a vessel that is easy to handle and suture as well as offer excellent anastomotic adaptation.
