The estimated lens processing time is provided by the system and its advanced control selects the optimum method for best results. The direct linear drive carriage is also an extra feature. With its automatic 3-D drilling and grooving even the difficult designs are made easy with the touch of a button to create different shapes and original lenses without being limited to a specific shape or type. The design mode of the ME 1200 covers various functions from partial grooving and beveling to the possibility of creating jewel holes and slots. The system also features step base or partial base edging as well as high base curve beveling for PL-8, PLB-8S, PLB-2R8S.
