It is mainly used in minimally invasive hip replacement with anterior access and hip arthroscopy. Both surgical techniques require free movement of the leg in all directions and the device perfectly fits the requirements. The device allows easy handling before, during and after the intervention. The device is equipped with a carbon fiber bar, a skid with screw tension device, which slides effortless on the bar and a foot plate. It enables the use of a.p. x-rays and in combination with a carbon fiber seat plate extension even 360° radiolucency. The complete device can be moved and adjusted during the procedure.
