The Avant 2120 is intended to facilitate patients monitoring for both noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) and proven SpO2. The Avant 2120 combines multi functions in a single unit. The device can easily be moved from one place to another because of its light weight and portability. Its mobilization is simple as it can be attached to a rolling stand or can be carried away with its integrated handle during patients monitoring. The product is suitable for all age groups with its variety of Nonin sensors and sizes of blood pressure cuff can adapt to each patient specific application. The NIBP module of the unit displays oscillometric blood pressure procedure for offering quick and motion tolerant readings. The oscillometric waveforms are created by filtering and amplification of oscillation pulsations in the arterial wall. Unlike the auscultatory devices, these readings do not have that much impact of ambient noise or conversation.
