The Surgitech VOLARGRIP™ SCISSORS single use instrument with a 5 mm diameter insulated shaft, 33 cm in length, is designed for introduction and use through all appropriately sized trocar sleeves or larger sized trocar sleeves with the use of a converter. The stainless steel scissor blades have a cutting edge 18 mm long. The serrated dial located on the handle rotates the shaft 360°. The Surgitech VOLARGRIP™ SCISSORS single use instrument with monopolar cautery has application in a variety of gynecologic and general endoscopic procedures for mobilization and transection of tissues. The cautery connection located on bottom of the handle may be utilized for monopolar cautery when attached to standard cautery cables and their generators.
