The COREFLEX Extended Length Boxer Splint was designed for treating both acute and sub-acute fractures of of the 4th and 5th metacarpals. The splint protects and supports the immobilization of the metacarpals. Its extended length gives added support to the wrist. The boxer splint, with its lightweight polyethylene shell, foam liner, and palmer pad, gets its name from what are often referred to as 'boxer fractures.'
