The JS-24.38, which is a swinging-bucket rotor measuring 6 x 38 mL, undergoes a rate zonal centrifugation. This results in an accurate separation of the subcellular organelles. For isolating cell membranes and bacteria, it is subject to a high batch throughput of four liters. This incorporates the use of JLA-9.1000 J-LITE® rotor at 16,800 x g.
