The Avalon Elite Bi-Caval Dual Lumen Catheter has been specially designed for simultaneous venous drainage and reinfusion of blood through the internal jugular vein. By draining blood from both the upper and lower body while simultaneously infusing it back into the heart, the catheter is able to increase the efficiency of the blood gas exchange. This patented device is made from an exclusive material which combines the bio-stability and flexibility of silicone with the durability of polyurethane. It includes a radiopaque to aid catheter insertion and positioning. Varying sizes are available to suit clinical applications for adults, children and neonatals.
