Key Design Features The Compression Screw (manufactured from titanium alloy) is indicated for small-bone reconstruction surgery or fragment fixation, for example: Fixation of osteotomies for Hallux Valgus treatment (e.g. Scarf, Chevron etc) Arthrodesis in foot surgery Other small-bone osteotomies and arthrodeses (e.g. hand surgery) Fracture repair The Compression Screws are: 3.0mm in diameter Self-tapping and cannulated for use with a 1.0mm guidewire Headless – the head of the screw is countersunk into cortical bone to increase compression and reduce soft- tissue impingement Available in a wide range of sizes from 10-34mm in 2mm increments
- Resorbability:not absorbable
- Surgical application:hallux valgus
