With SpiderFX™ usage of guide wires in the range of 0.014" - 0.018" is made possible by the Embolic Protection Device. It is used for the SpiderFX delivery catheter placement and initial lesion cross. The spider FX is retrievable through the low profile dual ended catheter congruent with a lead catheter / sheath smallest ID of 0.066" this is normally a 6F guide catheter or 5F access/long sheath. Every component in the device travels through the single hoop. The Nitinol braid comes preloaded at the end used for delivery of the SpiderFX Catheter. Additional features include superior monitoring. The new flexible Hypotube connector is designed to reduce the maximum force that is necessary to push filter by up 40% in relation to the SpideRX®. The low crossing profile of 3.2 F allows RX delivery of 6F guide/5F sheath compatibility.
