DIAS-400 is constructed from high quality tubing to guarantee long life. It is electrostatically coated with chip resistant epoxy polyester powder in a choice of different colors. Four part mattress area, three of them movable, covered with removable ABS plastic covers. Bedding platform for a 2000x900 mm mattress with integral mattress area extension at the foot end by 20 cm. Chassis covered by ABS plastic cover for protection and easier cleaning and disinfection. Removable head and foot ends with ABS plastic covers and a choice of different coloring decoration. Backrest and upper leg section is provided with an auto retraction and regression system to synchronize the movement of the back section with the patients pelvis (DbfK standards). Dual automatic regression of both of them during the auto contour function for protection of the patients lumbar area. DIAS-400 is supplied in the standard version with ?125 mm antistatic non marking single castors with central braking system, dual sided foot pedal operation. One of the castors acts as a guiding-steering wheel. Optionally available the following: Double castors ?125 mm or Single castors ?150 mm or Double castors ?150 mm. DIAS-400 is delivered with four rotary protective buffers to prevent scratching against the wall and also all accessory connectors and four mattress holders. DIAS-400 complies with the European Norms IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2 and IEC 60601-1-2-38 for electrical operated beds. Also conforms with the Directive 93/42/EEC including the instructions for electromagnetic compatibility.
