The ED-250XL5 is a duodenoscope incorporating a world class 410,000 pixel CCD chip by Fujinon. This traditional diagnostic device has a 15 degrees retrograde lens in the distal tip, the latter of which has a diameter of 12.5 mm. It features a working channel of 3.2 mm which fits inside the insertion tube which is only 10.8 mm. A smoother performance, with the removal of the risk of disinfection issues, is achieved by way if the sealed elevator channel.
