The Ceramill Map400 uses strip light projection to deliver high-resolution scan data. The device equipped with high sensitive 3D sensors and large measuring field for delivering precise image of the models and and optimal accuracy by scanning the dental models with high efficiency. Since the dental models are scanned with 2 axis, this greatly reduces the scanning time. Ceramill Map400 is well equipped with an open interference to enable loading of scans to CAD programs as well. To obtain a complete automatic anatomical framework design a design software is used with a virtual articulator. In such cases, the device easily records the articulated models in an occlusal relationship which is a prerequisite.
