The CATANIA™ Coronary Stent System is the first coronary stent to offer the proprietary Polyzene®-F surface modification. The CATANIA™ Stent is a flexible, balloon-expandable stent, mounted on a rapid exchange delivery system. The system carries CE mark for treatment of patients with coronary artery disease due to both de novo and restenotic lesions in native coronary arteries and vein bypass grafts. The stent is also intended for the treatment of acute and threatened occlusions in patients for whom PTCA interventional treatment has failed.
