The Cervical Vertebral Spacer and Vertebral Body Substitute are intended to serve as a spacer in Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion (ACIF) procedures or as a vertebral body substitute The primary functions of the devices are to restore and to maintain the intervertebral space resp. to replace the vertebra after a corpectomy. The cervical implants are available in various sizes. The Vertebral Body Substitute can be combined with the Cervical Vertebral Spacer which allows to create an optimal height when replacing a vertebral body. Packing the device with cancellous bone or ?-TCP (calc-i-oss®) promotes bony fusion of the intervertebral space.
