BORT OmoTwinAir is a medical sports rehabilitation aid commonly used for post orthopaedic surgeries, impingement syndrome, resting in abduction position after injuries to the shoulder joint, condition after rotary cuff rupture, immobilization after implantation of shoulder prosthesis. It helps in immobilization of the shoulder joint in abduction position at approximately 50 - 60 degrees. It has two compartment system to prevent undesired anteversion of the upper arm in the shoulder joint when lying down. Its upper arm pad can be freely positioned to provide additional immobilization of the upper arm. It is exceptionally lightweight with a very friendly design with comfortable hand rest that enables forearm muscles to be exercised as needed by the patient.
