The ExoShape® Soft Tissue Fastener is made to fasten the soft tissue graft on the tibial side of the knee joint during ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) reconstructions. This tissue fastener provides exceptional accuracy to ensure strong fixation, stable reconstruction, total biocompatibility amd complete graft protection. To promote a more anatomical reconstruction, the graft bundles stay exactly where they are placed. Unlike other fixation devices which drives the draft back to the tibial tunnel thereby introducing unwanted laxity to the reconstructed ligament, this problem is addressed by the ExoShape® Soft Tissue Fastener’s “closed force loop” technology which avoids this problem by eliminating retrograde force being applied to the graft.
