The anesthesia and respiration gas monitoring device is mainly used in the operating room for the measurement of respiration volume and respiration gas concentration within just 45 seconds of switching on. It offers a continuous monitoring of NO2, CO2, O2, volatile anesthetic agents, airway pressure and volume. The momentary concentrations are monitored for expiratory and inspiratory phases of respiration. The respiration rate is calculated to determine the concentration of each drug during inspiration and exhalation. The device automatically identifies five anesthetic agents with the 70 and 200 mL/min automatic user-set flow rate. Volatile anesthetic is measured with 70 mL/minute small sampling flow rate which also enables for neonatal monitoring.
