Two energy sources, Radio Frequency (RF) and Collimated Laser diode are used by the EPILIA RF device, and they complement each other and interact to efficiently and quickly perform hair removal at lower energy levels in comparison to a single energy. With dual energy control, users can operate the device on different hair and skin types safely. Certain chromophores such as melanin in the hair shaft or on skin do not affect RF, so the Epilia RF works well on thin, light hair as well as for rejuvenating skin.
