Designed with a microprocessor to provide precise infusion of liquids with disposable syringes. In times of critical care the unit provides valuable service for administering pharmaceuticals while transporting the patient. The pump operates using 12 volts found in ambulances or can be connected to 220 Volts. During transport of patients a special Ni-Cad battery provides 8 hours or service if necessary. The unit is easy to use by virtue of its intuitive design there is also simplicity of access based on the simplified numerical keyboard. Bolus function can either be automated or manual, maximum infusion is extended to 1500 ml per hour. Unit can be personalized based on criteria of set up menu. Infusion parameters can be changed without the need of interruption by using the titling. Patient safety is increased by the anti-bolus and the anti-siphon function.
