In this position you will examine heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Make note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat. Ensure that monitors are functioning properly. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Work under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred and at least 1 year of experience in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
