Job Overview

We are looking for a conscientious, hard-working, caring person to join our enthusiastic team as a Bank Radiology Assistant within the Radiology department at Withybush Hospital.

Main duties of the job

It is essential that you enjoy working with people and have great communication skills.

You must have patience and be methodical, work well in a team but have the ability to take initiative and work individually.

Duties include:

Assisting the Radiographers working in the clinical areas.

To perform clerical and administration duties. Helping to transfer patients. To welcome patients and escort them to changing rooms.

To assist patients to prepare for procedures.

Supporting the radiographersand patients during and after procedures. Cleaning and general hygiene tasks in the department.

Stock-taking and ordering of designated consumables.

Previous hospital experience would be desirable.

Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
