Radiology People are currently seeking a motivated Locum Consultant Breast Radiologist to join our client for a minimum locum term of 6 months with a view to extend.

 

Our client, a major university NHS hospital renowned for its commitment to excellence in patient care, medical education, and research.

 

Situated on the picturesque South Coast of England, their state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a team of dedicated professionals who uphold the highest standards of medical practice.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, expertise in breast imaging techniques, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of breast health services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in screening and/or symptomatic breast radiology
• Perform and interpret breast imaging examinations including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports to assist in patient management.
• Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, and oncologists to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to treatment planning discussions.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in breast imaging technology and techniques.

 

Qualifications:

• GMC Specialist or General Registration
• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training or extensive experience in Breast Imaging.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the United Kingdom.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
