Job Description Assesses gynecological and non-gynecological specimens submitted to the Cytopathology laboratory. Serves as technical expert to assist in the training of physicians and medical students. Assists the Pathologists in performing fine needle aspirations. Five years experience in clinical Cytology laboratory

Bachelors degree in Biological Science

Certified in Cytotechnology by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) As required by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), employee with access to blood irradiator in the Transfusion Service section must be subjected to fingerprinting and a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) identification and criminal history records check.
