Resolution Plan for e-Croatia Available

1.237 billions of kunas were allocated by the Croatian Government to the Operational Plan for implementation of the e-Croatia program. This program carries out all current IT projects in administration as well as the review of 130 related activities such as e-Index, free access to high-speed Internet in student dormitories (StuDOM), an information system for higher education (ISVU), distributed IT infrastructure for common usage of IT capacities (CRO-GRID), Mobile CARNet, and the System for Authentication and Authorization (AII).

e-Croatia projects have been making significant progress in recent years, and played an important role in reinforcing its position on the markets. The past three years have been characterized by a rise in the demand for modern technologies in Croatia – a fact closely associated with a rise in the country’s competitiveness level to the 46th position in the world.
