International Conference on Informatics Revolution for Smarter Healthcare IRSH 2021

Following the rapid evolution of Industry 4.0, the structure, behaviour, and interactions of natural and engineered computational systems are being disrupted in an exponential pace in almost every industry and field. In the specific field of healthcare, a wide range of technologies and emergent techniques are enabling the implementation of new services and approaches toward precision medicine, where diagnosis and treatment are being tailored to individual patients. Using massive data sets, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, machine learning, and high-performance computing, health analytics and informatics are, indeed, enabling optimized ways of disease diagnostic, identification, and prediction as well as smarted ways of care delivery.

The International Conference on Informatics Revolution for Smarter Healthcare (IRSH-2021) strives to bring together researchers and practitioners focusing on design, development and application of information technologies to healthcare sector. Pervasive, mobile, and ubiquitous healthcare systems, pandemic and disease modeling, usability and user experience of medical devices, human behaviour, ambient living, integrated healthcare approaches, patient empowerment systems, smart technology for remote patient visits and biosensors that can help people avoid doctors’ offices and waiting rooms, eHealth data standards and interoperability (e.g. HL7/FHIR), medical device and clinical investigation regulatory frameworks, as well as privacy and security are some of the issues that medical informatics professionals, ICT industry and research community in general are addressing. Health Informatics has also lead to a healthier and independent life-style for elderly and other people with certain medical restrictions.

All accepted and registered papers will be published in Springer CCIS (Communications in Computer and Information Science). CCIS is abstracted/indexed in Scopus, SCImago, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, DBLP, Google Scholar, and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation (Former ISI Proceedings).
